Rick and Jack are brewing up a storm that is steeped in the tradition of one of the Twin Cities first craft coffee houses of the 1990’s.
Jack opened the original “Java Jacks Coffee Cafe” in SW Minneapolis in 1992….Home of the award winning (no, really! Mpls St. Paul Magazine) “Ice Mocha J”.
Rick, who has roasted Jack’s coffee from the start, partnered up with Jack in ’97 until they sold the biz in 2000.
With a combined 25 plus years of experience in the mobile craft coffee market, Rick and Jack bring to Cloud Forest Coffee the respect, responsibility and proficiency that is necessary to service a large event…..this isn’t their first rodeo.

Care to join us for a cup of casual carbon offsetting?
Our motto, “carbon negative = earth positive”, reflects our teams dedication to carbon offsetting practices. When we serve a coffee beverage, not only are we treating our customers to a delicious drink, we are helping to make a big difference in the world.
Cloud Forest Coffee proudly pours Tiny Footprint brand coffee…..a company that offsets the carbon impact of harvesting, roasting and distribution of their coffee by planting carbon sucking trees in the Ecuadorian Mindo Cloud Forest. These trees serve an even larger purpose by helping to reclaim a large tract of Cloud Forest lost long ago to deforestation, in addition to providing sanctuary to thousands of species of indigenous animals, including hundreds of species of birds for which Ecuador is known. Furthermore, managing the Cloud Forest’s growth and redevelopment creates job opportunities in the surrounding communities, easing poverty and improving quality of life for the people of the Mindo Cloud Forest area.
All of this made possible by simply sitting down to enjoy a delicious cup of organic, sustainable coffee or espresso beverage.
